Vintage King Eroica Model 2270 Double French Horn w/ Case for sale in Sioux City, IA
For your consideration is a vintage 1975-1980 era King Eroica 2270 professional double French horn with hard case included.This instrument, serial # 5557288, is dated to a period between 1975-1980 according to info provided by con-selmer.com. Instrument shows cosmetic wear in the form of small dents most noticeably in the bell section (see photos 4-6) and plate wear throughout the body. Indentation is present at the thumb rest section (see photo 14). Also, rotors are a little loose so we recommend using a heavy rotor oil. Slides all pull as shown in photo 15 and instrument is playable. Case is in good shape and latches and hinges function as intended. As with all used instruments, we recommend having the instrument setup with a regulation and adjustment upon purchase.
