Insurance Inspector / Field Inspector Sioux City

We are seeking experienced INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS to complete field surveys of commercial properties as well as local farms (which may include dairy/poultry/cattle/confinement/crops) for insurance underwriting purposes in SIOUX CITY, IA and surrounding areas in NORTHWESTERN IOWA.
Most of the work is commercial lines (90%), and the rest is farms (5%) and some Workers' Compensation (5%) as well. Experience in completing Workers' Compensation field inspections is a HIGHLY significant plus.
Commercial businesses and farm inspections require an appointment with the insured (generally the business owner), discussing operations and identifying safety concerns and hazards within the occupancies' operations and their structures/outbuildings. For farm inspections, a diagram, requiring measurements providing the layout of the buildings (with their square footage) may be required.
Earnings are commission-based, as each inspection, for each location, is either flat-rated or paid by the hour (determined by the inspection's length and complexity).
Inspectors must have an insured, reliable vehicle, access to high-speed Internet, and a digital camera.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
