Job Description:

Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company s sales goals.

Build Retail growth plans for each sales channel and key customer to drive distribution and velocity.

Lead development of annual sales and Retail spending plans by channel and customer.

Develop pricing and promotional support recommendations by item and customer.

Work with Finance to review, adopt and train Sales team to use online promotional planning tool.

Define sales process and talent gaps with recommendations to address to drive desired sales outcomes.

Recommend and oversee Retail Sales team compensation and incentive programs to achieve sales targets.

Oversee and Manage broker relationships including commission structure and incentives.

Present Sales updates, including opportunities and issues, to Board to gain alignment.

Partner with Operations on S&OP forecasting to optimize production scheduling and case fill rates.

Partner with the Marketing function to establish successful consumer, channel and new item programs.

Drive alignment cross-functionally to support all key Sales initiatives and Customer requirements.

Monitor customer, market and competitor activity as well as summarize findings for internal teams.

Travel with team for in-person meetings with key customers and brokers to maximize team success.

Experience Requirements:
The successful candidate will have experience building and executing successful, national go-to-market strategies and corporate sales plans across sales channels that leverage Branded and/or Private Label retail products. We are looking for someone who can add to an established Sales team by providing best-in-class training from their own experience and skills with Sales presentations including a focus on analytic-based recommendations including pricing, category management (Nielsen/IRI data), and category/competitive/product recommendations. This position will be part of an experienced Leadership team and a demonstrated track record of success in large and/or medium-sized businesses will be important as will an ability to communicate and gain alignment at all levels of the organization, including cross-functionally.

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience is preferred; ability to travel 50 % of the time; strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of demonstrating history of self-direction, motivation and strategic thinking; ability to work independently and problem solve; ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the overall success; strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; excellent work ethics; history of an excellent attendance record; and must have a valid driver s license. Must be able to be onsite a min of 25% of the time

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
