3 DAY WEEK-ENDS!3:
30pm - 2am Monday - Thursday Position SummaryThese individuals are responsible for all maintenance required within the company. The maintenance work can be a wide variety of assignments and these individuals must be flexible concerning time. Maintenance responsibilities range from gathering parts from stores in town to fixing a side machine. These people must be mechanically inclined to maintenance side machines and other machinery that may need attention.Reasonable Accommodations Statement To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, including physical demands. Accommodation is limited by expense and difficulty.Essential Functions Statement(s) Perform a safety inspection of hoist chains, forklifts, and all tools used to ensure safety. Provide all maintenance required within the company. Ability to read and understand prints of machines and other items to be able to identify and fix issues that arise. Must be flexible concerning what tasks are assigned as they change often. Must be mechanically inclined to maintenance many kinds of machinery as needed. Organize parts throughout the maintenance shop so they can be found easily. Ability to read and understand a tape measure. Keep a clean and organized work area at all times. This individual is responsible for the above functions, but not limited to and is subject to other tasks as assigned. Physical and mental requirements needed to perform the essential functions Functional vision, normal or corrected. Functional hearing and speech. Ability to report to work punctually at the beginning of the workday. Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer. Ability to use keyboard and use of mouse or alternative input device(s). Ability to understand and follow safety rules and regulations. Skills and AbilitiesEducation:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
Experience:
Must be at least eighteen years of age.Computer Skills:
Average; ability to navigate computer systems for various tasks.Communication:
Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate clearly and concisely using the English Language.Certificates & Licenses:
Current qualification to drive a forklift and certification to weld. Must have current driver's license and a good driving record.Other Requirements:
Must have the ability to meet physical demands. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
