Summary:
Uses the ERP system to process Material Requirements Planning (MRP) jobs Reviews and updates operations in the ERP system Updates information in the ERP system as directed Utilizes production logs and job log sheets to ensure accuracy and make corrections when needed Tracks and audits production employees' attendance and applied labor Works with purchasing to schedule and coordinates materials Contributes to team efforts by effectively communicating and working well with members of other departments and personnel to accomplish assigned tasks and projectsTrack and monitor material advance working with purchasing to verify on time deliveryCoordinate outsourcing of parts to and from other sites Manages multiple projects with a thorough understanding of specific vendor needs and schedulesContinuously monitors progress on daily work schedules to assure that satisfactory progress is being made to meet Sabre customer demandsAssures accurate information by gathering specifications, drawings, and other related documents for review; compiles documentation into the Vantage-Epicor systemContributes to a safe working environment by being responsible for quality, safety, cleanliness and organization of assigned work areaReviews shortages daily based on the production schedule and through email communicationsPerforms other duties as assignedEssential Duties and

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
2 years recent administrative or related experience working in steel manufacturing environment is preferred; 1 or more years recent experience using an ERP/MRP system is preferred Skills & Abilities:
Must possess professional and effective English verbal and written communication skills, be detail oriented and self-driven Must be a team player and able to effectively multi-task, with a high level of accuracy, in a fast-paced work environment Must be flexible to adapt to change and updates regularly Must have a basic mathematical aptitudeBasic knowledge of blueprints desiredMust be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and OutlookRegular and timely attendance is required Physical Requirements:
Position works primarily an office environment requiring the use of office equipment such as a computer, copier, fax, phone, etcmost of the day While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to type, finger, handle or grasp, reach with hands and arms Frequently required to sit, talk and hear Position is occasionally required to visit to the production floor Must wear required PPE including safety glasses, steel-toe metatarsal boots and hearing protection at all times while on the production floor Occasionally required to lift and /or move up to 25 pounds Recommended Skills Adaptability Administration Attention To Detail Audio Equipments Auditing Blueprinting Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
